Aryssa Aragon, born and raised in Greeley, Colorado, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (UNCO), pursued a degree in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Aryssa comes from a proud lineage of UNCO alumni, including her mother, Ashley Aragon, her grandfather, Pres Montoya, and her grandmother, Linda Gutierrez. Inspired by her grandfather’s long-standing success in real estate, Aryssa developed a passion for the industry from a young age. Growing up alongside Pres, she absorbed valuable insights and learned the intricacies of the business.
Pres Montoya, a dedicated community member, began his career by working with troubled youth in Weld County before obtaining his real estate license in 1980. His clients, including judges and social workers, reflected his commitment to helping others. Pres quickly gained recognition as a top Realtor in Greeley and was a partner at Coldwell Banker The Team, which was among the top Coldwell Banker offices in the country. After orchestrating a merger with Sears Real Estate, Pres led the company to become the top real estate firm in Greeley.
In 2003, Pres became a grandfather to Aryssa and used his real estate career’s flexibility to support his family while his daughter, Dr. Ashley Aragon, continued her education at UNCO. Pres later founded his own real estate company in 2007, allowing him more time with his family. His community service includes two terms on the Greeley-Evans School Board, founding the Greeley Dream Team, and co-creating the “Cumbres” program at UNC. His efforts in education and real estate were recognized by appointments to the Colorado Commission of Higher Education and the Colorado Real Estate Commission.
Today, Pres continues his commitment to community service through Jobs of Hope, a local non-profit supporting formerly incarcerated men. He and his wife Diane have five children and two grandchildren across California and Colorado.
